Quotable Quotes ~ 122: Dad

Quotable Quote

Gary: Did you get the paper today?

Bernie: Yeah, I did.

Gary: Did you read the paper?

Bernie: Of course I did. That's what papers are for.

Gary: And?

Bernie: The funnies weren't funny if that's what you mean.

Bernie: (Refering to the paper) How do they do that? Some kind of special ink?

Gary: I'm not sure, I, um ....

Bernie: I bet it's the ink, dissaperaing ink. I was working on a project like that at Fort Bridges. Top secret stuff.

Bernie: I'm not saying I believe in ESPN or anything like that.

Chuck: ESP.

Bernie: What?

Chuck: ESP.

Bernie: That's what I said ESP.

Chuck: No.

Bernie: Yes, it is.

Chuck: You said ESPN.

Bernie: Chuck, I know what I said, I know what I said.

Chuck: You did not say that. You said ESPN.

Gary: Guys!

Gary: Look Mr., uh...

Nick: See what I mean? You're after my daughter and you don't even know her last name.

Gary: I hardly know your daughter.

Nick: Oh, is that why you were in the woods together two nights ago?

Gary: No, no, see that wasn't me, I mean it was me but I wasn't in the woods with your... Look, I wasn't there because I like your daughter... I mean I ....

Nick: You know your not helping your case any here, you know that.

Gary: No, I'm not.

Gary: Look you can't spend the rest of your life trying to kill your daughter's boyfriend, Nick.

Nick: And, ah, why's that?

Gary: Well, because no matter how many of them you kill, you know, there are always going to be more of them.

Nick: What?

Gary: Let me rephrase that.

Bernie: Who are you? What do you want with my kid?

Nick: What does he want with my daughter?

Bernie: I asked first.

Nick: Yeah, well I'm older.

Bernie: Are you sure about that?

Nick: I've got the gun.

Bernie: You're right, you go first.
