7.0 FAN FICTION
Fan fiction (or "fanfic") refers to stories made by fans based on characters and situations from a particular television series. Some fan fiction is considered "crossover" which means that it incorporates characters from more than one series. Fanfics are mostly found at online "archive" websites, but can occasionally be presented in a printed "fanzine" (fanfic magazine) form.
7.2 Are there any Early Edition fanzines?
Yes!! There is currently one Early Edition fanzine available, named "What the Cat Dragged In." Information about this fanzine can be obtained by sending email to peregrin_anna@hotmail.com.
7.3 Where can I read some Early Edition fanfic?
There are currently two websites that hold archives of Early Edition related fanfic:
GTA: GTA Early Edition Fanfic (http://earlydues.usanethosting.com/gta/index.html) - this archive consists of fan fiction written solely by members of the GTA.
Early Edition Fanfic Mailing List Archives (http://www.loony-archivist.com/eefanfic/) : this archive consists of any fan fiction that has been submitted through the Early Edition Fan Fiction Mailing List (See #6.1), and occasionally overlaps those fanfics found at the GTA site.
7.4 Can I submit my fanfic to CBS/Early Edition?
No. Due to legal constraints, those involved with the show are prohibited from reading and/or accepting unsolicited story ideas or fan fiction. Any unsolicited stories/ideas will be discarded, unread.
