Just thought you all would get a kick out of this.

Tess Harper is listed in the IMDb database and the almanac as being born in mammoth Springs, Arkansas August 15, 1950. that makes her seven years older than I am.

William Devane was born September 5, 1940 in Albany, NY. He's ten years younger (exactly 10 years younger) than my mother.

These are the people who played Kyle Chandler's parents in Early Edition.

Does anyone else find it funny that Lois was maybe 15 when she had Gary?

I'm 8 years older than Kyle, Tess is 7 years older than me. Willliam Devane is 17 years older.

I love them but it does seem like they stretched it for these two to be H.S. sweethearts as they implied in The Fourth Carpathian.

I guess no one ever told old Loise and Bernie that they were supposed to be careful when hanging out in a camario. But one thing ya gotta say for them, they sure raised Gary with a super ego that never quits. If you look at Sam Cooper, he did everything he was supposed to do with the paper and had a great time for himself also. Poor Gary has such a strong super ego that he even gave back the car at the end. All his rules are self emposed...but then again, what does a fifteen year old mother know about toilet training?

No offense, but Tess Harper looks a heck of a lot older than 50. She's only a year older than my mother, but she looks much older. Look at Kyle. I thought he was about my age (28) give or take a few years. He's 35. (And looking darn fine I must say)

It's not easy guessing someones age, especially now a days with make up, anti-aging creams, hair coloring, surgery. I would have guessed Tess Harper as older than 50 and William Devane as younger than 60. Kyle certainly doesn't look 35. I once got stopped at a casino because the guy didn't think I was 21, I was 36 at the time. Maybe it was because I was with my mother-in-law and her sisters all of whom were in their 70's, guess they made me look younger.

Yes Kyle looks great. I wouldn't take him for 35.

As for Tess, for some reason many blond(e)s tend to look older than they are. At least celebrity blonde(e)s. Farrah Fawcett was a knockout when she was younger. Good thing she turned into a good actress 'cause her looks ain't what they used to be.

"Jail Bait"? That's not nice! My mother was 15 going on 16 when she got married in 1946. My dad was in his 20s. Mom was old for her years then. He was young for his (and spoiled rotten). She grew up during the depression and when WWII hit the U.S. she was just past her 11th birthday. Loretta Lynn was only 14 if I remember rightly.

Somehow I think Lois & Bernie have been in love for years and years and years and maybe their parents knew it would last and that's why they didn't object?

Who knows? Maybe one of you should write a fanfic on THEIR courtship and marriage.

Fuzzy math on whose part Sarah Beth? The producers or writers who can't seem to keep straight how many years they've been married, the fact that Lois is barely old enough to be Gary's mom or what? Don't they drive you crazy? :O
