Brighton Beach Memoirs was performed at the Neil Simon Theatre (opening on March 27, 1983) and was directed by Gene Saks. The play starred J. Patrick Breen as Stanley, Peter M ichael Goetz as Jack, Dorothy Holland as Kate, Fisher Stevens as Eugene, Jodi Thelen as Nora, Elizabeth Ward as Laurie, and Kathleen Widdoes as Blanche.
