Update 21-March-2009 -- Possibly belongs to Peter Michels
Emailer LMT writes: "I believe this is my ggg grandfather,
Peter Michels' iron cross - according to the Archdiocese he's buried there. The
care taker has no record of him since the records were destroyed in a fire. St
Francis Xavier in Cross Plains has almost the same cross and it belongs to his
son, Joseph Michels. However, Peter's other sons -- George, Henry and Herman --
are all buried at Saint Anthony's. I can't find a death certificate for Peter
Michels who died in 1893 and no one has any idea when his wife Christina died or
where."
