Elizabeth C. Klang, age 93, of McFarland, formerly of Cazenovia, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on June 25, 1914, in Juneau County, the daughter of Herman and Nora (Davis) Michel. On Oct. 29, 1935, she was united in marriage to Joseph A. Klang at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Germantown. This marriage was blessed with five children. Elizabeth loved to bake, especially homemade bread and molasses cookies. She also enjoyed the outdoors, the fall season and watching the birds. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church and Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph on May 27, 1973; four brothers; two sisters; and her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Klang. She is survived by her children, Loretta (Norman) Crispin of Madison, Leonard (Judy) Klang of Cazenovia, Walter Klang of Waukesha, Jeanette (Russell) Woodward of Watertown and Joan (James) Armbrecht of Madison; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Beatrice (Ernie) Reda of Tacoma, Wash.; and sister-in-law, Florence Abbs of Reedsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at ST. ANTHONY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Germantown with Father Andre Panek officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
